Learning that goes beyond theory
I provide engaging, reflective training for counsellors, therapists, trainees and organisations, with a particular focus on trauma, attachment, relationships and the nervous system.
My approach to training combines psychological theory with experiential learning, reflective practice and practical application — helping participants not only understand concepts, but recognise how they show up in real people, relationships and therapeutic work.
VIEW UPCOMING TRAINING
My professional development workshops are designed for practitioners who want to deepen their understanding of the relational and embodied aspects of therapeutic work.
Training may explore areas including:
Trauma & the nervous system • Attachment • Relational patterns • Somatic approaches • Countertransference • Emotional carrying • Defence mechanisms • Shame • Rupture & repair • Codependency & trauma bonds • Therapist wellbeing
Sessions combine theory, clinical reflection and experiential learning, creating space to consider not simply what we know, but how that knowledge changes the way we practise.
Current & Upcoming Training ........
I facilitate themed reflective groups for counsellors and therapists, creating space to bring clinical work into conversation with psychological theory.
Each session focuses on a particular area of practice — such as attachment, trauma, relational patterns, countertransference, boundaries or therapeutic rupture — while participants reflect on their own client work within a confidential professional space.
These groups are designed to encourage curiosity rather than certainty: What might be happening here? What am I noticing? What am I carrying? And what might this tell us about the therapeutic relationship?
Monthly online groups | Themes change each month
